Free BaZi calculator: build a Chinese astrology birth chart
Use a recorded birth date, local time, birthplace, and time zone to make the calculation legible before you read any traditional interpretation.
What a BaZi calculator does
A BaZi chart is a Chinese astrology birth chart built from a traditional Chinese calendar system. A calculator maps a birth moment onto four pillars: Year, Month, Day, and Hour. Each pillar has a Heavenly Stem and an Earthly Branch, which is why BaZi is often called the Eight Characters. A calculator can make those chart facts visible; it should not disguise an interpretive tradition as a scientifically validated forecast.
Which details to enter
Use the date and clock time recorded where the birth occurred. Choose the birthplace and local time zone rather than converting it to the time zone where you live now. This keeps the civil time used in the original record intact. If the time is unknown, say so. Guessing noon creates a chart that looks complete while hiding the part of the result that is least certain.
What to check after calculation
First confirm the visible Year, Month, Day, and Hour Pillars. Then locate the Day Master, the stem at the top of the Day Pillar that many reading systems use as a reference point. Look at Five Elements only as relationships in the whole chart, not as a single fixed personality label. The next useful step is a reading order, not a one-line verdict.
